Marisa Constantinides
Marisa Constantinides is the Director of Studies of CELT Athens and is responsible for the design and implementation of all the programmes offered by CELT.
Marisa’s main qualifications related to teaching are the RSA Diploma in TEFLA (DTEFLA), a precursor to the Cambridge DELTA Diploma, and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Reading in the UK. She has been a teacher and teacher educator for more than 25 years and has designed and implemented numerous teacher education programmes for the private and state school sector in Greece and other countries. She is course tutor on Cambridge CELTA and Cambridge DELTA courses and is a frequent presenter at local and international conferences.
Marisa Constantinides has written materials for children (Basic Grammar Workbooks 1, 2, & 3 published by English Schoolbook Publications), activity books for Cambridge Exams set texts, and numerous articles on Language, Foreign Language Teaching and Education.

Alexandra Koukoumialou

Alexandra Koukoumialou
Alexandra Koukoumialou has been a teacher of young learners and adults for more than 15 years. She obtained her Cambridge Diploma for Overseas Teachers in 1993 and ran her own private language school for 10 years. She now teaches general and Business English and Modern Greek courses at CELT Athens and, as her blog post suggests, occasional CLIL courses! Alexandra also recently completed her Avalon Certification Course for Teaching Languages in Second Life. Alexandra is also one of the online tutors supporting our Distance Diploma in Translation Courses from and into Greek.

Alexander Makarios
Alexander Makarios has been a teacher of young learners and adults for 6 years. He obtained his Cambridge CELTA Certificate in 2006 and his Cambridge DELTA Diploma in 2009. He completed both his training course at CELT Athens where he now teaches general and Business English courses. This year, Alexander followed the our CELTA Training-in-Training programme and he is now an approved Cetificate in TEFL and Cambridge CELTA tutor.

Olga Gouni started out as a lawyer, continued as a TEFL teacher and Foreign Language School Owner and manager for many years. She made a very big career move when she decided to complete her studies in Sociology & Psychology, and for more than ten years, she has been working as a Social Psychologist with a special interest in education.

Dina Dobrou
Dina Dobrou has been a teacher of English for 15 years and also works as a free lance translator. She has the Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation and is a Member of the CIoL. Dina is very keen on her Professional Development and recently obtained her CELTA Certificate at CELTAthens. She is keen on learning about new technologies and on pursuing a career in TEFL with a particular interest in teaching adults, exam preparation classes as well as business English and multilingual classes.
